Dhaka: Today is the first anniversary of death of Major Gen (retd) Amjad Khan Chowdhury, founder of Pran-RFL group.

On this occasion, a doa mahfil will be held at its head office and factories to commemorate Amjad Khan, a visionary entrepreneur and industrialist.

Amjad Khan Chowdhury breathed his last in the USA on 8 July, 2015.

He was born in Natore on 10 November in 1939. He retired from the Bangladesh Army in 1981.

He founded PRAN-RFL Group, now a leading conglomerate in Bangladesh in 1981.

PRAN-RFL Group is now exporting its products to 130 countries around the globe. Around 80 thousand people are working directly at the group.
