Dhaka: A Juba League leader was shot to death in the Sutrapur area while four people were injured in a crude bomb blast in the Chawkbazar area in Dhaka on Friday night.

The deceased is Rajibul Hassan, a local Juba League leader.

The Sutrapur Police Officer-in-charge Tapan Chandra Shaha said local people found blood-stained Rajib lying in the Rokonpur area of Dholaikhal.

Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital immediately, where doctors declared him dead.

In another incident, four people were injured in a crude bomb attack during an arbitrator in Khajedewan area of Chawkbazar in Dhaka. They were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Doctors said the injured are in critical condition.
