Sherpur: Detectives arrested two people along with one pistol, two magazines, one grenade, and five bullets from Baro Gojni area in Jhinaigati upazila on Sunday morning, reports UNB.

The arrestees are Shishto Marak, 45, and Anukul Sangma, 54, of the village.

Sub-inspector of Detective Branch of police Sajeeb said tipped off, a team of the DB police conducted a raid on the house of Shishto Marak in the area and arrested the duo at about 7:00am.

Later, the law enforcers recovered one pistol, two magazines, one grenade, and five bullets from the house.

A case was filed in this connection.
