Kushtia: Two people were killed and 15 others injured as a bus skidded off the track and hit a roadside tree in Koipal Badurjhola area of Daulatpur upazila on Friday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased are the bus driver’s helper Babu of Taragunia village, and Polash, a passenger hailing from Irshardi upazila in Pabna.

Shahidul Haque, officer-in- charge of Daulatpur Police Station, said a bus of ‘Al Amin’ paribahan hit the road side tree and turned turtle in the area as its driver lost control over the steering at about 11:00am, leaving the duo dead on the spot and 15 others injured.
