Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today reshuffled the offices of eight Officer-in-Charge (OCs) in Dhaka.

Confirming the report to BSS, DMP deputy commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman said Mohammad Yasir Arafat Khan of New Market Police Station has been transferred to Kalabagan Police Station, Mohammad Atikur Rahman of Cantonment Police Station has been transferred to New Market Police Station, inspector (investigation) Mohammad Mahabubur Rahman of New Market Police Station has been promoted to the post of OC of Cantonment Police Station.

Inspector Matlubur Rahman has been transferred to New Market Police Station as inspector (investigation). Paltan Police Station OC Morshed Alam has been transferred to detective branch (west), while his position has been filled by Rampura Police Station OC Rafikul Islam.

Inspector (investigation) Proloy Kumar Saha of Motijheel Police Station has been transferred to Rampura Police Station as OC and DB inspector (north) Golam Rabbani has been transferred to Motijheel Police Station as inspector (investigation).

DMP commissioner Asaduzzaman Miah made the reshuffle through an office order dated July 21.
