Natore: Movement of buses on the Natore-Rajshahi route remained suspended on Tuesday as a strike was enforced following a clash between members of two transport owner bodies.

Rajshahi Bus Owners’ Association enforced the strike on the route from Tuesday morning following the clash on Monday.

Laxman Poddar, president of Natore Bus Owners’ Association, said Rajshahi Bus Owners’ Association announced the strike when they protested carrying excessive number of passengers on bus roofs.

Plying of all buses on the Natore-Rajshahi route remained suspended due to the strike, cutting off Rajshahi and Chapainawabganj from the north and southern regions.
