Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) officials said police recovered 13 hand grenades, four pistols, 19 detonators, around five kg of gel explosive, three lifejackets, one sword, 12 knives, seven magazines and 22 bullets from the spot during the drive.

Police also recovered two black flags writing slogan ‘Allahu Akbar’ on the centre, said the officials.

Meanwhile, the bomb disposal team of the Detective Branch disposed of the hand grenades.
