A Dhaka court on Wednesday issued arrest warrants against 59 leaders and activists of BNP-led 20-party alliance including BNP senior leaders — Selima Rahman, and Barkatullah Bulu — in an arson attack case filed with Motijheel police station on January, 2015.

Lawyers and court officials said Judge (in-charge) of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court Ruhul Amin passed the order against the 59 fugitives after accepting charges against 87 accused, reports BSS.

The BNP leaders, who are facing arrest order in the arson attack case also include: Maruf Kamal Khan, Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, Shirin Akhter, Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Azizul Bari Helal, Quayum Commissioner, Latif Commissioner and Sharfat Ali are also among the accused.
