Dhaka: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday arrested Ruma Hossain, wife of the Narayanganj seven-murder prime accused Nur Hossain, in connection with the illegal wealth accumulation by her husband.

Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the ACC Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya said a team of the graft watchdog led by its deputy director Zulfiker Ali, arrested Ruma from her house at Simrail in Siddhirganj upazila of Narayanganj district at about 6:30am.

Earlier on 10 March, ACC deputy director Zulfiker Ali quizzed her for two hours at the ACC head office.
