Dhaka: A court in Dhaka on Monday sent Ruma Hossain, wife of Narayanganj seven-murder prime accused Nur Hossain, to jail in a graft case.

Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sayeed passed the order when Zulfiker Ali, deputy director of the Anti Corruption Commission produced Ruma before the court, reports UNB.

The court also rejected the bail petition filed by her lawyer.

Earlier, the ACC arrested Ruma Hossain from her house at Simrail in Siddhirganj upazila of Narayanganj at about 6:30am on Monday in a case filed over illegal wealth accumulation.
