5 suspected Ansarullah activists to be quizzed for 3 days

Chittagong: A Chittagong court on Tuesday sent five persons, held on Monday on suspicion of having links to Islamist organisation Ansarullah Bangla Team, to police custody to be interrogated for three days.
Detective Branch picked up the five persons from their rented houses in Katgarh area under Patenga police station in Chittagong.
They are Atiqul Islam Emon, Jamshedul Alam Hridoy, Akkas Ali Noyon, Rubel and Mohiuddin.
The court of Metropolitan Magistrate Abdul Kader granted police three days to question them, though the investigation officer sought 10-day to question them.
Police named them in a case filed under the Anti-terrorism Act with the Patenga police , court sources said.
Police also recovered two laptops, seven mobile phone sets and hundreds of Jihadi leaflets from their possession. The detainees were brought to DB office for further interrogation.
