Dhaka: Police detained 44 Nepalese on Friday from a building at Mirpur DOHS in Dhaka for allegedly overstaying in Bangladesh.

Tipped off, a team of Pallabi thana police launched a drive in the building and detained the Nepali citizens as they could not produce their valid documents, including visas, said Pallabi police station Officer-in-Charge Dadaon Fakir.
