Dhaka: Members of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)  in a drive detained five suspected members of banned militant organisation Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh(JMB) carrying some explosives from Dhaka’ s Mirpur area on Thursday.

Tipped off, a team of CTTC launched a drive in the Technical intersection and held the five suspected JMB members along with some explosives and detonators at night, said Deputy Commissioner (Media) of DMP, Masudur Rahman.
