Dhaka: The Supreme Court has approved the dismissal of four judges for their irregularities.

They are judge of Comilla Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal SM Aminul Islam, former judge of Thakurgaon Ruhul Amin Khandaker, former additional district judge of Jamalpur M Sirajul Islam, and former additional district judge of Khulna Mainul Haque. They are now attached with the Law Ministry.

The apex court has cleared their dismissal for their alleged involvement in corruption, irregularities and misconduct, Law Secretary Abu Saleh Sk. Md. Zahirul Haque told UNB on Saturday.

The ministry will issue a gazette in this regard soon, he said.

The decision came from a full court meeting of the Supreme Court on Wednesday, sources at the court said.
