Dhaka: Police found the involvement of 7-8 more people in the Gulshan café attack apart from Tamim Chowdhury and Marzan, said Additional DMP commissioner Monirul Islam on Tuesday.

“We’re trying to arrest them…their real names and other vital information have not been known yet,” said Monirul, also the chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) while talking to reporters at DMP media centre.

“We’re carrying out our investigation, and we’ll be able to know about them after further investigation,” UNB quoted him as saying.

He also said they disclosed Marzan’s photo, and they will bring his parents to Dhaka for interrogation.

“We also have got information about Marzan through ‘Hello City Apps.  We’ll also be able to know who had been involved in the attack after the arrest of Marzan,” Monirul added.

Twenty hostages, including 17 foreign nationals, were killed by militants, while five militants and one suspected associate of the attackers were killed during a commando operation inside the café on July 2.
