Kishoreganj: Bangladesh Tariqat Federation Secretary General Maulana Sadrul Amin Rizvi, also Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat President, was killed and seven people were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a microbus at Jelkahana intersection on Bhairab-Mymensingh Highway in Kishoreganj town on Tuesday night.  

Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer-in-charge Mosharraf Hossain said the microbus, carrying Rizvi, collided head-on with the bus around 10 pm, leaving the Tariqat Federation leader dead on the spot and seven people injured.  

The injured were taken to Kishoreganj Modern Sadar Hospital, he said.
