Dhaka: A Dhaka court on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant against 67 leaders and activists of the 20-Party Alliance, including BNP leaders Selima Rahman, Barkatullah Bulu and Maruf Kamal in an arson case, reports BSS.

Metropolitan Session Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah issued the order accepting the charges pressed against 93 accused in an arson attack case filed with Motijheel police last year.

The other BNP leaders are BNP joint-secretary general Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel, former president of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) Azizul Bari Helal, special assistant to BNP chairperson Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas and general secretary of Mohila Dal Shirin Sultana.

Meanwhile, BNP standing committee member MK Anwar and former joint secretary general Amanullah Aman are on bail now.
