Dhaka: A Dhaka court on Wednesday granted police 5 days to quiz four suspected female members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act, reports UNB.

Those to be quizzed are Oishee, an intern of Dhaka Medical College Hospital and head of the female unit of the banned outfit, Aklima Rahman Moni, Mou, and Meghla- all 4th year Pharmacy Department students of Manarat International University.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Pranab Kumer Hui passed the order when officer-in-charge(operation) of Mirpur Model police station Shahjalal Alam produced them before the court seeking 7-day police custody for each.

Earlier on Monday, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the four suspected JMB members’ from Dhaka and Gazipur cities.

The elite force also recovered religious books, documentaries, and audio and video CDs from their possession.
