Comilla: A truck driver suffered burn injuries as miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the vehicle in Gouripur area of Daudkandi on early Monday.

The injured was Riaz, hailed from Rangpur.

Police said the incident took place when the miscreants tossed the bomb at the truck in the area at about 3:05am, leaving the driver injured.  

Riaz was taken to a local hospital and later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Daudkandi police officer-in-charge Abu Salam Miah confirmed the incident.
