Dhaka: A fire broke out at a shop of a multi-storey building at Rokeya Sharani in Dhaka’s Mirpur area on Monday morning.

The Fire Service and Civil Defence control room official Atiqul Islam said the fire broke out of a shop ‘Parda Bilash’ on the ground floor of a building at East Monipur in Mirpur-10 at about 8:19am.

Six firefighting units have went to the spot at about 8:30am and still working to douse the blaze.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
