GAZIPUR: Ten people were injured, including three with bullets, in a clash between two groups of local Awami League over establishing supremacy at Signboard in Sadar upazila on Tuesday.

Locals said the clash ensued following an altercation between the supporters of AL leader Mashiur and his rival around 5pm.

A chase and counter-chase took place amid gunshots between them, leaving 10 people injured from the both groups. Of them, three suffered bullet wounds.

On information, police rushed in and brought the situation under control.

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital.
