Chittagong: Detectives in a drive arrested two suspected members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team from Chittagong’s Bakalia area early on Thursday.

The arrestees are Rokon Uddin, a garment factory worker, and Nizam Uddin, a former student of Chittagong University.

Tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in Boro Mia Mosque area and arrested the two suspected militants early on Thursday, said Poritosh Ghosh, deputy commissioner of DB of Chittagong Metropolitan Police.
