Benapole: Police in a special drive arrested 55 people, including four activists of Jamaat-e-Islami, from different areas in Jessore on various charges.

The Jessore Police Control Room officials said police launched a drive from Wednesday night to Thursday morning in different areas of nine upazilas and arrested the 55, including four activists of Jamaat.

The four Jamaat men were accused in sabotage cases, said the officials.
