Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid returned home on Sunday from London after a week-long stay there for his medical check-up.

A regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 12.00noon.

On his arrival at the airport, the President was received by Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Liberation Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq and high civil and military officials.

The President went to London on 28 August and underwent medical check-up at Moorfield Eye Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London.
