Keraniganj: A female worker of a pen factory was sexually assaulted allegedly by her colleague and his three associates at South Keraniganj near Dhaka.

Police detained two of the alleged molester — Mohammad Arif, and Mohammad Nasir — after the victim filed a case with South Keraniganj Police, reports UNB.

Inspector (investigation) of the police station Abu Sayeed Al-Mamun said the victim along with her co-worker Mohammad Sazzad Hossain visited Ahsan Manzil on Saturday morning. They went to Jhilmil residential project in Keraniganj in the afternoon.

At one stage, Sazzad called his associates Arif, Nasir and Mohammad Mahidul Islam Ripon to the spot and they violated the girl, aged around 18, by turns.

They also made a video of the incident and threatened the victim with dire consequences if she opens her mouth.

The victim went to the police station on Saturday evening and filed a case in this regard.

Later, police launched a drive in the Jhilmil project and arrested Arif and Nasir. They also seized the video clip of the incident.
