19 Bangladeshis tested Zika positive in Singapore

Dhaka: A total of 19 Bangladeshi nationals working in Singapore have so far been tested positive for Zika virus, officials said here on Monday.

Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore has been informed by the Ministry of Heath of Singapore about the figure as of 5 September, said Foreign Ministry here, reports UNB.

According the Ministry of Heath of Singapore, the patients are presented with mild symptoms and have either recovered or are recovering.

They are being taken care of by the Ministry of Heath of Singapore.

Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore has been in constant touch with the authorities concerned and monitoring the situation.
