Dhaka: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-1 arrested five persons with fake notes of Tk 1crore denomination in Dhaka’s Banasri and Jurain on Wednesday night.

Identities of the detainees could not be known immediately.

RAB-1 media wing official Muhit Kabir on Thursday morning told NTV Online the law-enforcers held five people and seized counterfeit notes worth Tk 1crore and equipment used for making such notes.

Details about the arrest will be briefed in a press conference at about 11:00am.
