Six people were killed and five were injured in separate road accidents in Gazipur.

The accidents took place on Saturday. The identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

Officer-in-charge of Maona Highway Police Station in Gazipur said a collision between a Truck and a human utility vehicle occurred in Bagherbazar area of the district. Five utility vehicle passengers were killed in the accident, and five people were injured, he added.

In a separate accident, a person died after a bus ran over him.
