Ailing Hannan Shah set to be flown to Singapore
Dhaka: Ailing BNP standing committee member ASM Hannan Shah will be taken to Singapore on Sunday midnight for better treatment there.
‘All the necessary preparations have been made to take my father to Singapore. An air ambulance is scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 10:00pm today (Sunday). I hope it’ll fly by midnight on completion all the formalities,’ Hannan Shah’s son Rezaul Hannan told UNB.
Rezaul said as his father has been suffering from cardiac problem, he will be taken to Singapore Heart Foundation.
He urged the country’s people to pray for Hannan Shah’s early recovery.
On Monday, the senior BNP leader was taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) after he complained of acute chest pain.
Later, he was put on life support at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital.
