Dhaka: At least four workers were injured as the compressor of an air conditioner exploded at an electronic alliance repairing shop in Mogbazar, Dhaka on Monday morning.

The injured Masum Hossain, son of Delwar Hossain, Ahsan Habib, son of Abu Taher, Sarwar Hossain Biplob, son of Golam Hossain and Sohel— were admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The hospital sources said the blast occurred while the workers were repairing an air-conditioner at Sartho Business Corner in the area at about 10:00am.
