One of the two bullet-injured men died at hospital following an attack by unidentified miscreants at a club in Motijheel AGB Colony area of Dhaka South City on Friday night.

The victims are Ahsanul Haque Imon, 30, and Rizvi Hasan Babu, 34.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp Sub-inspector Sentu Chandra Das said the duo were injured when about four of five miscreants opened fire at the club at about 11:00pm.

The locals rescued and whisked them off to DMCH at about 11:30pm in critical condition, he added.

Later, Rizvi Hasan Babu died on his way while he was being shifted to a private hospital as his condition was deteriorating, said Motijheel Police Station Inspector Ghulam Rabbani.
