Bogra: Two people were killed and nine others were injured after a bus collided with a truck in Mirzapur market area of Sherpur upazila in Bogra in the early hours of Monday.

Identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

The Sherpur police Officer-in-charge Erfan said a United Paribahan bus from Rangpur collided head-on with a truck in Mirzapur market area leaving one dead and ten others injured.

Police and fire fighters went to the spot and took the injured to Sherpur Upazila Health Complex. Later, an injured died undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The bodies were kept at Sherpur hospital morgue.
