Dhaka: Bullet-hit body of a Juba League leader was discovered from the garage of his Dhanmondi residence on Wednesday morning.

The Dhanmondi police said the deceased is Enayet Kabir Chanchal, central Juba League presidium member.

The family of Chanchal called police when found his body, which bore bullet mark injury on head, at the garage at about 11:30am.   

Police also recovered Chanchal’s licenced revolver near the body.  It has been believed primarily that Chanchal committed suicide by shooting himself.

The body has been kept at Chanchal’s Dhanmondi resident.
