Dhaka: Members of Detective Branch (DB) arrested four people for allegedly impersonating its members from Dhaka’s Motijheel area on Saturday night.

Identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.

Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Masudur Rahman said acting on a tip-off, a team of DB conducted a drive in Motijheel area and detained the four who used to impersonate detectives.

The law enforcers also recovered walkie-talkie sets, handcuffs, DB jackets and toy pistols from their possession.
