Gulshan attack: Police to quiz ‘militant’ Regan
Dhaka: A court in Dhaka on Sunday granted police six days to interrogate Rakibul Hasan alias Regan, who was arrested during Kalyanpur drive on 26 July in a case filed in connection with Gulshan attack.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Golam Nabi passed the order when Humayun Kabir, an inspector of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit (CTTC), produced him before the court with a 10-day remand prayer, reports UNB.
Regan was shown arrested in a case filed in connection with Gulshan Café attack under the Anti-Terrorism Act, said CTTC unit inspector Humayun Kabir.
Earlier, a court placed Regan on police custody for three days in a case filed with Hazaribagh Police Station.
Police arrested Regan with bullet wounds while trying to flee during a drive in the city’s Kalyanpur area on 26 July.
