Dhaka: The fire that broke out at the forestry department building , Ban Bhaban, in Mohakhali’s Amtali area of Dhaka on Monday morning was brought under control after around half an hour.

Fire service control room Officer-in-charge (OC) Enayetur Hossain said the fire originated at the ground floor of the building at about 10:50am.

Four fire fighters unit went to the spot and brought the fire under control.

Primary reports said the fire originated from an electric generator.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
