The 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination under the Public Service Commission (PSC) held on Friday.

Meanwhile, the commission prohibited use of any kind of watch, including wrist watch, pocket watch or electronic watch, during the examination, said a handout.

The two-hour long test held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna, Sylhet and Rangpur centres from 9:30am to 11:30am.

The authorities provided necessary number of wall clocks in the examination halls to check time, the handout added.

The examinees were also asked not to enter the examination halls along with mobile phone sets, electronic devices, books, notes, calculator and bag.
