Bhola: Two workers died after they had got into a septic tank at Kalibari road in Sadar upazila on Saturday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased are Al Amin of Char Pata union in Daulatkhan upazila and Rajib of Char Samaiya union of Sadar upazila.

Locals said Al Amin and Rajib along with some others were working in an under-construction building of Abdul Goni at about 10:30am.

At one stage, Al Amin went down the tank. As there was no response from him for a while, Rajib also went down the tank.

Getting no response from the duo, the fellow-workers informed the house owner.

After their rescue by locals, they were taken to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared them dead.
