A fire broke out on Sunday at a spinning mill at Shafipur in Gazipur. Ten units of fire services were trying to douse the flame.

A denim recycling plant at Jamuna Maracas Spinning Mill of Jamuna Group caught fire at about 5:15am on Sunday. The fire soon spread out the entire floor.

Fire services officials said they were trying to tame the flames as the fire went out of control and engulfed the fabrics, and cotton storages, and the finishing, and knitting sections.

Ten fire fighters units from nearby areas joined the local unit. However, the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
