Savar: A minor boy met water burial as he drowned into a beel (water body) at Chapain Taltala in Savar upazila on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased is Nayem, 2, son of Nazmul Huda, a resident of Chapain Taltala.

Locals said Nayem was playing with his sister Ayesha on the bank of the beel in the village in the afternoon.

At one stage, he slipped into the water body.

Later, locals recovered the floating body of Nayem.
