Dhaka:  Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Joint Secretary General Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel surrendered before a Dhaka court on Sunday morning in 41 cases filed with different polices of Dhaka for subversive activities.

The BNP leader surrendered before the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s court seeking bail in the cases at about 9:30am, said his counsel Sanaullah Miah.

Separate magistrate courts are likely to hear the BNP leader’s plea on Sunday in connection with the cases.
