9 militants’ bodies shifted to Kurmitola Hospital
Dhaka: The bodies of nine suspected militants, who were killed in operations by law enforcers at their dens at Harinal and Patertek of Gazipur city on Saturday, were shifted to Kurmitola General Hospital from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMH) on Monday night.
The bodies were transferred to Kurmitola General Hospital at about 11:00pm as there is no enough space at the DMCH mortuary to preserve those, reports UNB quoting the hospital authorities.
Earlier, the nine bodies were taken to the DMCH from Gazipur at about 8:45pm for keeping those at its mortuary, said DMCH police camp in-charge sub-inspector Bachchu Miah.
On Sunday, autopsies were conducted on the bodies of the nine suspected militants at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital in Gazipur.
Eleven suspected militants, including JMB Dhaka regional commander Akash, were killed in separate operations conducted by police and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members in their hideouts in Gazipur and Tangail on Saturday.
