Faridpur road crash kills 2

Faridpur: Two people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a bus and a utility vehicle at Bhanga Bus Stand on Dhaka-Barisal Highway in Bhanga upazila in Faridpur on Wednesday morning.
The deceased are Fatik Malo and Kaisar Sheikh, residents of Sharifabad village in the upazila.
When the human hauler carrying four passengers was going to Babna Tala Bazar from Maligram a Madaripur-bound speeding bus of ‘Hakim Enterprise’ hit the vehicle around 9am, leaving Fatik and Kaisar dead on the spot and two other passengers injured, said Officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police Station Ezazuddin.
The injured were taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
Police seized the bus. However, the driver managed to flee scene, the OC added.
