2 Indian citizens held at Jessore border

Jessore: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two Indian citizens from Gatipara border area of Benapole on Sunday night, reports UNB.
The arrestees are Hafizur Rahman, 30, and Afjal Hossain, 10, both residents of South 24 Pargana in India.
Subedar Jahangir Hossain of BGB battalion-26’s Doulotpur camp said acting on secret information, a team of the border force conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo at night while they were trying to enter the Bangladesh territory without valid documents.
The arrestees were handed over to Benapole Port Police Station.
A case was filed in this connection.
