Chittagong: Police recovered the body of a man stuffed in a sack from a house at Teribazar in Chittagong city on Monday, reports UNB.

The deceased is Anjan Dhar, 35, a staff of a jewellery shop.

Nur Mohammad, inspector (investigation) of Kotwali Police Station, said being informed by Babul, brother-in-law of the deceased, police recovered the body decomposed body of Anjan breaking open the door of his flat on the 4th floor of a building at about 10:30am.

Police sent the body that bore several marks of stab injuries to Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue.

Police detained Anjan’s wife and Babul for interrogation.
