Barisal: Two minor cousins drowned in a pond at Chandrahar village in Gouranadi upazila on Tuesday, reports UNB.

The deceased are Isha, 4, son of Ilias and Abdul, 4, son of Alamgir of the village.

Isha and Abdul slipped into the water and drowned while playing by the pond near their house in the afternoon, said Alauddin Milon, officer-in-charge of Gouranadi Police Station.

Later they were rushed to Gouranadi Health Complex where the doctors declared them dead.
