Dhaka: A mild tremor shook Dhaka and other parts of the country on Wednesday afternoon.

The earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale, was felt at about 1:20 pm, met office sources said.

However, there was no immediate report of any damage or casualty.

The epicentre of the earthquake was near Sunamganj of the country, the sources said.
