Dhaka: The 20th National Council of ruling Awami League entered the second day on Sunday at Institution of Engineers’ Auditorium in Dhaka’s Kakrail with much enthusiasm of the party followers.

Earlier in the morning, Sheikh Hasina, also the Awami League president addressed party’s leaders and activists an introductory speech.

Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the council at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka on Saturday morning.

A total of 6,570 councilors and 6,570 delegates are taking part in the council. Leaders of other political parties and representatives of various professions also took part in the inaugural session of the council.
