Gazipur: A schoolgirl was found hanging at their house at Kutubdia in Kaliakoir upazila on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Police recovered the body of Munni Akter, a Class-VIII student and daughter of Shahidul Islam, in the morning, said officer-in-charge of Kaliakoir Police Station Rafiqul Islam.

Later, the body was sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Family members claimed that Munni was killed in a planned way.

They said a boy named Arafat used to harass her on her way to and from school as she refused his love proposal.
