Dhaka: Police recovered the body of an unidentified young girl inside a sack from Najirerbag area at Keraniganj of Dhaka on Wednesday.

The girl, aged around 25 years, was wearing a yellow kamiz and white salwar.

Sub-inspector of Keraniganj South Keraniganj Police Station Nurul Alam said locals found the sack lying in a low area near Jhilmil Residential Project in the area in the afternoon and called the police.

Later, law enforcers opened the sack and found the body inside it.

Officer-in-Charge of South Keraniganj Police Station Monirul Islam said they had sent the body to Mitford Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
